  12. I am currently the proud owner of an IBM Mwave 28.8 modem who is having
  13. no success in connecting via ppp to hayes , USR Courier or Microcom
  14. modems.  The modem will establish a connection then hang up after
  15. a few minutes REGARDLESS of line conditions.  If anyone has any fix 
  16. for this problem ( besides replacing the modem ) please let me know.
